Williams WPC-89 System MPU board (A-12742) — the main CPU/MPU board used in Bally/Williams WPC-89 era games.
If your original board has suffered battery alkaline/acid damage, this is the clean, reliable replacement path to get your game back in play—fast.
ASIC, EPROMs, and the processor are not included and must be transferred from your existing board. ASIC and processor are also available separately — see related items.
To protect the ASIC and the socket during the swap, we strongly recommend using an ASIC chip puller.
Improved features:
Shrouded housings for ribbon cable connections. Keeps the pins from getting damaged in shipping and when the ribbon cables are installed or removed.
6264 NVRAM comes socketed and pre installed
The ULN2803 is socketed! It makes the accidental connection of solenoid voltage to your switch column that much less painful!
Country jumpers are now a DIP switch, no more cutting or soldering wire jumpers.
All through hole components still easily sourced for ease of maintenance.
Lower reset threshold watchdog circuit to lessen resets in power hungry games.
OEM schematics can be used for troubleshooting.
Beautiful gloss black finish on the PCB.
