Display bench tester board for Williams System 3-9 pinball boards.
View the numeric outputs for 6 digit or 7 digit display modules when bench testing. Eliminates the need to install original display system in game cabinet to read diagnostic or audit information.
Includes wiring harness and 5 volt power supply.
A must for repair and bench testing of Williams pinball System 3-9 CPU boards.
Operating Instructions:
It is recommended that you use the same 5v power source that you are using to power the CPU board under test. When applicable, the test points on your CPU board are an excellent choice.
North American 110 volt / 60 Hz wall wart 5v power supply is included.
If testing a CPU board that uses 6 digit displays, plug both wiring harnesses into the bottom headers at P2 and P5, then flip dip switches 1 through 4 down and switches 5 through 8 up on the DIP switch block on your display tester board.
If testing a 7 digit CPU board, use headers P3 and P4 with switches 1 thru 4 up and switches 5 thru 8 down.
Connect to the CPU board using the appropriate headers. On System 3-7 it's a simple straight connection. On System 9, note the header connection numbers as the connectors are mirrored right to left.
