6.3V AC Playfield Star Post LED
Make your playfield lighting pop!
Fits standard 1-1/16" star posts on Williams, Bally, Data East, Sega, and late-model Stern machines.
Installs neatly under any single-ring 03-8319-XX star post. Includes LED board and wiring.
Compatibility note: Designed for 6VAC lighting systems (Williams, Bally, Data East, Sega, Stern).
Not compatible with 5VDC systems (Jersey Jack, Spooky, Dutch Pinball). Will not fit under double-ring or concentric-ring posts.

Before you start: This install requires basic soldering skills. Always power off your machine before working on it. Take your time — rushing leads to mistakes.
Step 1: Power down
Turn off your machine completely.
Step 2: Position the LED board
Slide the LED board loosely beneath your star post. It should sit comfortably under the plastic without forcing.
Step 3: Route the wires
Feed the wires through a nearby playfield hole to the underside. Keep them away from ball traffic areas.
Step 4: Choose your lighting style
For always-on illumination:
Connect the RED and BLACK wires to any nearby general illumination (GI) lamp. Your post will light up with the rest of your GI.
For flashing action:
Connect the BLACK wire to the negative side of a nearby coil or flash lamp. Your post will flash in sync with that feature. (Note: this dims the post slightly, but adds drama.)
Step 5: Clean up and secure
Double-check your connections, then use a cable tie to secure excess wire away from any moving parts.
That's it. Power up and watch your playfield come to life with upgraded lighting effects!
