These single inline pin (SIP) machine pin sockets are the only chip socket you need to stock. They are ‘snappable’ to any length and can accomodate any SIP from 1 to 30 pins or DIP (dual inline pin) IC from 2 to 60 pins. They are superior to conventional sockets because they allow access for soldering between the rails on double-sided circuit boards.
Standard 0.1 inch spacing and overall pin length is 0.34 inch.
