Pin-Tek Replacement Bally Auxiliary Driver - SCR/TRIAC Lamp Flasher assembly.
Purpose of Auxiliary Driver Board:
Used in some Bally games to control a switch called a triac.
The triac switch turns specific lights on and off to create interesting lighting effects.
Works in conjunction with a lamp SCR on the lamp driver board.
Location of Triac
Typically mounted on a bracket attached to the rectifier board mounting plate.
Located at the bottom of the game cabinet.
Indicator Bulb:
A small bulb is positioned near the auxiliary driver board.
This bulb lights up when the auxiliary driver board is active.
Function of the Indicator Bulb:
Crucial for the proper operation of the auxiliary driver board.
Assists the opto isolator chip (MOC3011) on the board to function correctly.
