Fuse Prefixes
The 2 major categories of glass tube style general electronic application fuses grouped by circuit opening response times are Fast Blow and Slow Blow (time delay).
The letters or numbers preceding the fuse amperage value indicate the fuse manufacturer, response time and the physical fuse size. The voltage rating stamped on the fuse is the "flashover" safety voltage. The higher, the safer. Most pinball machine use 250v rated fuses on most circuits.
