New, nylon rack & brass core pinion repair kit for Bally THE SHADOW pinball machine.
Includes new plastic rack with fasteners, brass core pinion gear, roll pins and hex key tool for installation.
Installation instructions:
Tools required: Phillips screwdriver, .06 inch diameter pin punch, pliers.Remove paddle diverter motor and use a .06" (1/16 inch) diameter pin punch to extract the roll pin from existing pinion gear.Loosen the pinion gear set screw with included hex wrenchReplace with new pinion gear and tighten the set screw firmly. Install new roll pin in the set screw with a clamp or pliers.Remove original rack and replace with new rack. DO NOT overtighten the screws securing the rack or it will crack.
