Magnetic Field Scanner

This handy Magnetic Field Scanner is commonly used for testing magnetic field distributions of magnetic materials and electromagnetic devices. Great for checking pinball playfield magnet coils.

It is made of a special magnetic sensing film sealed in a transparent card that measures 38mm x 50mm.

Its main function is to view the distribution of magnetic lines and poles of permanent magnets and electromagnets. The viewer displays the magnet's pole numbers, distance between poles and poles' division.

When laid on a magnet, the film turns dark at the poles while the zones between north and south appear in a lighter color.
