IC - 24 pin DIP non-volatile RAM

The Dallas DS1220 Non-Volatile RAM integrated circuit is for use with the Ultimate MPU board.

It replaces the AA batteries and the 6116 chip and has an internal lithium battery that is rated for a minimum operation of 10 years. It won't leak and has an unlimited amount of read and write cycles.

At any time a board can be changed back to using a 6116 with AA batteries and vice versa.
