- Polycarbonate is a copolyester with very high impact resistance. Lexan® is one of the brand names for Polycarbonate.
- Polycarbonate is tough, clear, and chemically resistant. Polycarbonate is a well-suited material for protector washers.
Polycarbonate is far superior to acrylic which tends to be brittle and is not as tough.
