Flat Rate US Ground Shipping

Through negotiating special shipping rates with our suppliers, Marco is now able to offer our customers flat-rate shipping/handling on all ground-based orders.  Lighter packages will typically ship via Priority Mail, and heavier packages will typically ship via FedEx Ground.  Marco also offers a low-cost uninsured first-class mail option for orders under 12 oz. Please note that Marco’s flat rate services are not time guaranteed and the shipping dates are provided as estimates only.  You may continue to use premium FedEx Express services such as Next-Day Air and 2nd-Day Air at a weight-based discounted rate. Expedited shipping is available to street addresses only–FedEx does not ship to United States Post Office PO Boxes.

FedEx Ground & Express

Most heavier packages ship via FedEx Ground. Marco has determined that FedEx handles packages more carefully overall. FedEx does not guarantee the delivery time on ground shipments, and there may be delays during busy seasons such as the winter holidays.

Domestic Shipping Times

Marco strives to ship all domestic (United States) in-stock orders within one business day of receipt. International orders can take up to two business days to ship. However, during busier times of the year and holiday periods, we may take up to 72 hours to ship non-expedited orders. Standard delivery times are not guaranteed.  In-stock premium service orders placed before 1PM EST will always ship same-day and always take priority over flat rate options. Express delivery times quoted do not include weekends or holidays. Recently Fedex has suspended all money-back guarantees for all Express shipping options. Please contact customer service to arrange Saturday delivery for your package at an additional charge.  Please note that if you live in a rural/extended delivery area, FedEx may not be able to deliver by the stated time of day.

    • FEDEX Standard Overnight (1 day by 5 PM)
    • FEDEX Priority Overnight (1 day by 10:30 AM)

Insurance

Please note that packages shipped via First Class mail are not insured and are the customers’ responsibility once they leave the Marco warehouse. Packages shipped via Priority Mail, FedEx Ground, and all premium shipping services are covered by Marco.

Marco insures all outgoing orders for our mutual protection except for first class mail shipping. 

For your own protection against loss, we recommend that you insure any packages being returned to us.  We also recommend that you send it using any available package tracking method.

Marco is not responsible for any lost or damage packages shipped to us.

Any shipments that are marked as “Delivered” by the carrier will not be eligible for lost package claims and will need to be handled on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us for any help in situations like this.

How are shipping rates calculated?

  • Flat rate shipping: applies to all products for sale on our website.
  • Premium and International Shipping
    • We use the weight and physical size (dimensional weight) of the order to calculate shipping and handling rates.
    • Oversize, extremely heavy, or fragile products have a surcharge applied to them.
    • Additional charges may be applied to “domestic” shipments going to Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico.
    • The charges do include handling, which takes into account labor, insurance, documentation, packaging, protective padding, invoices, labels, and supplies.

For large domestic (USA) orders over 70 lbs, we offering common carrier freight options. Please call 803-957-5500 Monday-Friday 9AM to 5PM EST for shipping quotes. Flat rate shipping does not apply to orders over 70lbs.

What is a default shipping address? Your billing address is your default shipping address unless you provide a different SHIP TO address during checkout.

Shipping Origin Address

All packages ship FOB (Freight On Board) from our main warehouse unless otherwise arranged. That means once the box leaves our warehouse, you are in possession of the product.  However , Marco will gladly work with you should any shipping problems arise.

How do I change my shipping address?

To edit an address, click on My Account. The details of your account are displayed.  Click on the Edit button below the address that has to be changed.

Expedited Orders

Marco does its best to get your order to you when you need it. In most cases, if we receive your order during business hours before 1:00 PM EST and everything is in stock, we can ship the order overnight so that you receive it the following day. Expedited shipping is available to street addresses only. FedEx does NOT accept post office box shipments. Additions to Express orders will affect turnaround times.

Due to the huge selection that we offer, some items ordered may be out of stock.  If you need an order for a specific delivery time, please call our Customer Service Department at 803-957-5500 and we will both verify inventory and help you decide how to ship your order in the time frame that you need.

Delivery times vary for overnight packages.  Most packages are delivered the following day before 5:30 pm.  You will receive a tracking number via email on the evening that the package is shipped so you can check your shipment’s status.

If you are placing your order on a Friday and need the items by Saturday, please call us at 803-957-5500 Monday-Friday 9:00AM to 5:00 PM EST to place the order.  There is a surcharge for Saturday and Sunday deliveries.

All FedEx packages are shipped with No Signature Required. If you would like to require a signature on your FedEx package please call us at 803-957-5500 after you place your order. The signature required option is available for an additional $5.00.

If you need to send items to multiple shipping addresses, please create separate orders for each.
